Some fun facts about me!

I feel happy when people enjoy my performance. In Elementary school, I was focusing more on acting. But even when I performed my "violin" during year-end talent shows, I tried to make my "violin" performance exciting by adding background video and game music elements! It wasn't about how much skill I had, it was about vibing with the audience. And now, through music, I wish to continue that dialogue and just having fun with everyone who experiences what I create!

Recognitions

I have been awarded the Music Scholarship by my school and have been recently invited to perform at various international music festivals along with my classmates.
In 2025, led my band APEX to win the Gold Award in KS4 at the 2025 FOBOSIA Battle of the Bands Competition

Leadership

As leader of the NLCS Jeju Music Society, SONITAS, I've made major strides in changing the way music is approached from Aug. 2024 - June 2025 (where I had been a member since 2022)
I created within my school the 'Sound of Us' concert which showcases compositions by students, performed by students. It has now completed its 2nd year! (2024 and 2025)
I have led Sarah House to win the school drama competitions (3rd place and 1st place in 2024 and 2023 respectively), the whole house singing competition (1st place in 2023) and actively led arts within Sarah House by taking on leadership roles such as Arts Captain

Teaching / Lecture

Teaching assistant to the Studio Band from Aug. 2024 - June 2025 which I have also been a member from 2021
Lectured music theory to Y7 (100+ students), addressed senior school on what music means (300+ students)
Co-founding the Harmonics Enterprise to achieve my goal of teaching students beyond what is provided by the school and motivating students to embrace music

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

I've also particpated in exciting film projects with my friends as director, sound director, composer, and actress
I've also particpated in the NLCS Jeju musical productions The Beauty and the Beast, Cats and the Wiz as drummer and percussionist
